“He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy” (Job 8:21).
Nothing brings joy like children’s laughter. Yet some kids rarely laugh. They live in intensely hard situations where sadness reigns. We love to bring joy to these kids by providing activities that foster learning, teach about Jesus and release hope—and often a whole lot of giggles too.  These photos depict our kids in Pedregales, Mexico enjoying outings away from the drug infested slum barrios where they live.
Some of our kids in Mexico who saw their parents killed—including Christopher, Michael, Noemi and April—are receiving God-centered bereavement counseling to help them cope. And so are the caregivers (such as Grandma who struggles to bring up Christopher and his siblings since her daughter, their mother, was killed). Please pray for these kids to heal. To help with that process, one of our volunteer workers, Oscar (seen here playing with kids), will spend extra time investing in Christopher and some of the older kids (an answer to prayer).
In India, the boys from our children’s home in Kolalapudi are now back to school. As these photos show, they grew a lot this summer—especially Konda Nayak who is now 15-years-old. Konda loves to play cricket and board games. He aspires to be a teacher some day. He also enjoys serving  and helping poorer kids in surrounding villages. Please pray for Konda and all our kids to keep growing in the Lord and doing well at school.
Thank you for your prayers and support for the kids in our homes and programs. As always, tax-deductible contributions can be sent to the address above—or via the website:
