“I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts” (Psalm 119:45).
Freedom is a gift that many kids never experience. Such was the case of children before entering our Orphans First programs. Finding food, caring for siblings, and missing school—even abuse and neglect—were just some of their struggles. But your prayers and support have helped change that, especially for those in our children’s homes.
In India, since the kids are taken care of 24/7 in loving, Christ-centered homes, they thrive. But in Mexico, although we help with education and basic provisions, the kids still return to their slum homes in the barrio (right). No wonder they especially enjoy special outings—as these photos below of them romping in the countryside testify. (Love the photo of them praying.)
May is National Foster Care Month. In America, some half a million kids need a family—especially a permanent home. Please join me in praying for them.
